"Heidi's Chalet" is the name of this Mini Cuckoo Clock in Alpine House design. The Chalet is richly decorated with a filigree roof window, Edelweiß flowers of wood, a stone wall depicted on the wooden housefront, and rounded windows with heart shutters and flowerboxes.  In front of the chalet is a pine tree with a wooden bench, as well as Heidi, Grandfather, Peter and his shepherd dog, the world-famous characters from the story of Heidi. The cuckoo bird above the clockface moves in rhythm to the Black Forest girl, that rocks back and forth.   The "tweeting" sounds at the hour, followed by a cuckoo call with Echo, telling the number of the hour. There is a choice between cuckoo call or Westminster melody at the hour. The clock has a manual night switch off. The Quartz battery clockwork is run by two 1,5V AA batteries that are delivered with the clock (except in the USA). The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions. This clock model is produced by the Black Forest company Engstler, a family-run business that has been well-known for generations both for its tradition and technical excellence.
