Set against the backdrop of a wooden barrel, fir trees, and the cozy farmyard, the scene reflects the traditional daily life that was once common on many Black Forest farms.

Particularly striking is the large Black Forest hipped roof, which has been one of the typical features of many Black Forest farms for centuries. The delicate wooden ornamentation, green shutters, and the lovingly designed woodcutter scene give this clock its very own character.
