The girl with the geese and the shepherd boy are featured on this Black Forest Cuckoo Clock with shingled hip roof. The miniature clock is decorated with a Black Forest pine tree, a stack of firewood and a detailed wood decoration on the front of the house. The original Black Forest hip roof is covered with individual wooden shingles, and underneath the window, the cuckoo bird moves back and forth to the swinging of the pendulum. Every full hour, the cuckoo "tweets", and calls with Echo, telling the number of the hour. There is also a choice between cuckoo call or melody at the full hour. The clock has an manuel night switch off. The Quartz battery clockwork is run by two  1,5V Size AA battery that aredelivered with the clock. The arabian numbers are painted onto the wooden clockface, and the clock hands are made of high-quality plastic. This small souvenir clock can be used as a wall- or table clock. The clock is delivered in its own little box with instructions in different languages. This clock model is produced by the Trenkle company in Simonswald, a family business that has been around for the last 50 years, and prides itself in combining the traditional handcrafting with new technical developments.
