"Tender Love" is the name of this original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock with its carved hip roof  with bellow tower and dormer window. The wood casing is stained in walnut, and mounted on a light-colored carved wall. The house is framed with a doe, farmhouse pig and pine trees. The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour.  After the cuckoo calls on both the hour and half-hour, one of the two alternating melodies plays. During the music, the young Casanova slides over to steal a kiss from his girlfriend, who unashamedly turns her face to meet his. To the music, the water wheel turns, and the dance figurines on the balcony turns to the music. The clockface, numbers and clockhands are all made of wood. This clock has a manual night switch off. The mechanical clockwork runs for 24 hours.
