This original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock brings the simple Black Forest feeling to mind through its comfortable Black Forest House with shingled hip roof, a pine tree and a water well! The wood case is walnut-stained. The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. This clock has a manual night switch off. Clockface, numbers and hands are all made of wood. The mechanical clockwork runs for a week. This classic model is crafted by the August Schwer company in Schönwald, a family business that has been around since 1885.
