The industrious Black Forest farmer Franz is preparing his winter supply of firewood. His dog Hasso is his faithful companion. The handmade original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock has a VDS-certificate. The clock has many impressive handcrafting elements, including beautiful miniature lattice windows with curtains, shutters and flower beds, a lovingly constructed balcony, a turning water wheel and several handcarved and handpainted pine trees. 

The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. After the cuckoo calls, on both the hour and the half hour, one of the two alternating melodies plays, and the water wheel turns and folklore dance figurines turn to the music on the balcony. The Cuckoo Clock has a manual night-switch-off. Clockface, Numbers, and Hands are all made of wood. The mechanical clock movement runs for 24 hours. The clock is delivered in an original box with complete instructions and VDS-certificate.  This special clock is crafted by the Hekas company in Schonach, a family business that was founded in 1938 by Helmut Kammerer, and in the 3rd generation still stands for its original motto:  "Tradition with perfection".
