The wood casing is stained in walnut with detailed ivy vines and flowers, each model uniquely decorated. The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. The clockface, numbers and clockhands are all made of wood. This clock has a manual night switch off. The mechanical clockwork runs for a whole week. This one of a kind clock is crafted by the Rombach & Haas company, a family business founded in 1894, and world-renowned for its quality and unique design.
