This exceptionally large cuckoo clock features a traditional Black Forest house with a bell tower and a richly carved bear scene. Several bears are arranged around the house, giving the clock its unique, narrative character. Above the dial are the dancers, who move to the music on the rotating dance plate.

On the hour, the cuckoo appears and calls out the number of the hour. Then the music begins, and the moving figures come to life. The clock is equipped with a mechanical 8-day cuckoo music movement and features an automatic chime shut-off that silences the cuckoo call during the night.

This model is manufactured by Hekas – Cuckoo Clocks from Schonach, a manufacturer with a long tradition in Black Forest watchmaking.
