In a small wooden house high up in the snow-covered Black Forest hangs a very special cuckoo clock. It is not only a timepiece, but also a window into a magical world. With its red dial, snow-covered roof, and golden stars, it was the centerpiece of the room. On the hour, a tiny Santa Claus appeared next to the cuckoo, driving his sleigh through the clock, accompanied by the glow of the small Christmas tree standing next to him.

On the hour, the cuckoo opened the door, chirped, and called out the number of hours with an echo. This is followed by one of twelve different melodies. There is a switch on the side. This can be used to turn the music off separately or together with the cuckoo. A light sensor automatically turns off the sound when it gets dark, but the clock continues to run. The dial and hands are made of wood. The clock is powered by a battery-operated quartz movement that requires three 1.5 V C batteries. The cuckoo clock comes in its original box with instructions for use. It is manufactured by Trenkle, a family business in Simonswald that has been in existence for half a century. Their trademark is combining proven craftsmanship with the latest technology.
