„At the Village Fest" is the name of this Black Forest Cuckoo Clock with shingled chalet roof and a red roof trimming. The wood case is stained in walnut. The housefront is decorated with miniature windows. In front of the house, two musicians play next to the dance area which is enclosed with a little garden fence decorated with flowers. The folklore dance figurines move in time to the clock ticking. The cuckoo opens the door at the full hour, "tweets", and calls with Echo, telling the number of the hour. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melidies are played. The clock has a manual night switch off, and also a light sensor to automatically turn off the cuckoo sound when it is dark. The Quartz battery clockwork is run by three 1,5V Size C batteries that are delivered with the clock. . This clock model is produced by the Trenkle company in Simonswald, a family business that has been around for the last 50 years, and prides itself in combining the traditional handcrafting with new technical developments.
