The Black Forest girl with the traditional balled hat rings the bell everytime the cuckoo calls on this chalet-style Cuckoo Clock with shingled roof. The sheep and rabbit keep the girl company. The little chalet is adorned on top with a bell tower. The clock case is stained in walnut and decorated with rounded lattice windows with heart shutters, a balcony underneath the cuckoo door and a wooden terrace on the side.

The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. The girl rings the bell when the cuckoo calls. This clock has a manual night switch off. Clockface, numbers and hands are all made of wood. The mechanical clockwork runs for 24 hours. The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions and a VdS-certificate. This clock model is produced by the Black Forest company Engstler, a family-run business that has been well-known for generations both for its tradition and technical excellence.
