The Black Forest house impresses with its unusually designed facade: There is brown half-timber on a light background under the brown hipped roof, which is used for the lower part of the clock as well. In front of the structured house front, which is colored entirely brown, the colorful water trough, a dog, a flying mushroom and green fir trees are beautiful contrasting colors. The cuckoo opens the door at the hour, and tweets and calls out the number of the hour with an echo. Afterwards one of the 12 alternating melodies are played. On the side you will find a switch to turn off the music separately, or both the cuckoo and the music. Through a light sensor the clock is automatically quiet after dark, although the clock keeps running.

This clock is run by a quartz battery clockwork that runs on three 1,5V batteries - Size C. The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions. This cuckoo clock is crafted by the Trenkle company in Simonswald, a family business that has been around for the last 50 years, and prides itself in combining the traditional handcrafting with new technical developments.
