A pair of rocking birds on bamboo is the theme of this original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. Two intricately carved, natural-colored cuckoo birds rock back and forth to every cuckoo call on the full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. The case is made of bamboo, which is technically a type of grass that can only be harvested every four years. The grained surface of the clock gives it a unique and luxurious design. This clock has a manual night switch off. The black clockhands are made of wood. The mechanical clockwork runs for a whole week. This unusual clock is crafted by the Rombach & Haas company, a family business founded in 1894, and world-renowned for its quality and unique design.
