A roaring stag decorates this classical cuckoo clock, which is richly decorated with carved oak leaves. This clock shows typical features of a hunter design: the clockface is framed by a hunting horn and decorated with a hare and a bird on either side. The wooden cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. After the cuckoo calls on the hour, one of the two alternating melodies plays. During the music, the folklore dance figurines turn on the balcony. The clockface, numbers and clockhands are all made of wood. This clock has a manual night switch off. The mechanical clockwork runs for a whole week.
