In this simple yet very stylish modern cuckoo clock, there is a nice contrast between the wood grain of the house and the chrome sheen of the dial and cuckoo door. The diamond shape of the dial is repeated in the pendulum disc and even in the sawn out side openings for the cuckoo whistles. 
The smooth black weights drive an 8-day movement. The cuckoo calls on the hour according to the time, and on the half hour it calls once.
This cuckoo clock is made by the Hönes company in Titisee, which is deeply rooted in the centuries-old tradition of clockmaking and stands for Black Forest craftsmanship.
