The hunter is on the lookout for an ibex on this colorful original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. The hunter searches the landscape from his platform. The wood case is stained in cherrywood, and decorated with deeply carved oak leaves. In the middle, a proud stag thrones on the rock. The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. After the cuckoo calls on the hour, one of the two alternating melodies plays. During the music, the folklore dance figurines turn on the balcony. The clockface, numbers and clockhands are all made of wood. This clock has an automatic night switch off. The mechanical clockwork with rack movement runs for a whole week. This cuckoo clock masterpiece is crafted by the Hönes company in Titisee, a family business deeply rooted in the century-old tradition of the clockmaking industry, and is well known for its high-quality Black Forest craftmanship.
