This cuckoo clock shows a typical Black Forest house with slate-covered hipped roof and blue shutters. The farmer in knee breeches and traditional hat is chopping wood from his own forest. On the left side a cow comes to the watering place.
The man moves the saw in time with the cuckoo. Then the music starts, to which the mill wheel and the dancers on the balcony turn.
This cuckoo clock has a manual shut-off of the chiming mechanism, so you are undisturbed at night. The dial, numerals and hands are also made of wood. The mechanical rake chime mechanism runs 24 hours.
This clock is crafted by the Hekas company in Schonach, a family business that was founded in 1938 by Helmut Kammerer, and in the 3rd generation still stands for its original motto: "Tradition with perfection".
