This original cuckoo clock is a modern remake of the traditional Black Forest laquer plate clock from the old times. Here it comes in a modern angular format and surprises with an artistic motif: the outlines and multiple shadows of a stag and a hind, all in warm red tones. In this clock, the cuckoo, the hands and also the clock case, the pendulum and the painted metal weights are all in plain white, because the image is in the foreground. On the hour, the cuckoo bows and calls the number of the hour (for example, at 3:00 pm 3 times) and on the half hour once. This cuckoo clock has a manual night shut-off. The mechanical rake strike mechanism runs for one week. This modern design piece is made by Rombach & Haas, a company founded in 1894 that has created a name for itself in terms of quality and unique design.
