Many luscious details decorate this natural wood swiss mountain cabin. The roof is covered in handcrafted wooden shingles and topped with a bell tower. The whole front yard is covered in a sea of colorful flowers, and the filigree lattice windows with curtains are a real eyecatcher. In front of the house is a covered water wheel, with a alpine hornblower in front of it.  The house cat is lounging comfortably on the wooden bench and the St. Bernhard dog with his barrel around the neck is guarding the cabin, along with his puppies, all hoping to get some milk from the farmer who is milking his cow. The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour.   After the Cuckoo calls on the hour, one of the two alternating melodies plays. While the music plays, folklore dance figurines  turn on the balcony, the water wheel turns, and the farmer lifts his arm to milk the cow. The clockface, numbers and clockhands are all made of wood. This clock has a manual night switch off, but also an automatic night switch off between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.  The Clockface, Clockhands and Numbers are all of wood. The mechanical clockwork runs for a whole week. The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions. This cuckoo clock masterpiece is crafted by the Hönes company in Titisee, a family business deeply rooted in the century-old tradition of the clockmaking industry, and is well known for its high-quality Black Forest craftmanship.
