The Black Forest girl rings the bell in the bell tower on this original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock House with a traditional Black Forest hip roof with bell tower. The housefront is decorated with many small details, such as a watering can, flower basket, wooden beams and a pine tree. The wood case is left in a light-stained color, with a walnut-stained half-timber framework, and miniature windows with shutters and flowers complete the decorative picture. The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. As the Cuckoo calls, the girl pulls on the bell rope, and the bell in the tower rings.  The clockface, numbers and clockhands are all made of wood. This clock has a manual night switch off. The mechanical clockwork runs for a whole week. This authentic scene is crafted by the Hekas company in Schonach, a family business that was founded in 1938 by Helmut Kammerer, and in the 3rd generation still stands for its original motto:  "Tradition with perfection".
