Two beautifully handcarved squirrels and a bird ready to take flight are featured on this traditional carved Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. The handcarvings on this clock display once again the masterful craftsmanship here in the Black Forest.
The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. This clock has a manual night switch off. Clockface and hands are made of wood. The mechanical clockwork runs for a week. The cuckoo clock comes in an original carton with complete instructions. This classic model is crafted by the Anton Schneider company in Schonach, a family business that started on a farm in 1848 and has developed into one of the largest cuckoo clock producers in the Black Forest.
