Two friends enjoy the time together with a pint of beer in the beer garden on this original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock with slanted, shingled roof.  The housefront is decorated with a handmade shingled roof, under which two beautifully crafted corner nooks have been built, complete with little lattice windows , heart shutters, and flower boxes.  Above the clock dial, the housefront has a beautifully crafted half-timbered tudor design. Through the lower window on the housefront, the movement of the clock movement chains can be seen. An artfully crafted wooden water fountain is placed on the left side of the housefront.  The solid-wood cuckoo calls the number of the hour on every full hour (e.g. 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m. 3 times) and once on the half-hour. As the cuckoo calls, the friends lift their beer glasses to drink. This model has a manual night-switch off. Clockface, numbers and clock hands are made of wood. The mechanical clockwork runs for a week. The clock comes in an original box with complete instructions and a VdS certificate. This classic model is crafted by the Anton Schneider company in Schonach, a family business that started on a farm in 1848 and has developed into one of the largest cuckoo clock producers in the Black Forest.
